What a simple and easy way to create your own nail polish remover jar. I chose to use a mason jar, just to make it a tad 'cuter'!
What you need:

  • Jar (I used a mason jar)
  • 2 Sponges
  • Scissors
  • Bottle of nail polish remover

First cut your sponges into little cubes about 1" by 1". Stuff them into your jar. Pour in your nail polish remover until the jar is about 1/3-1/2 way full. You can always add more if the sponges start to loose their absorption. And there you have it! Easy-peasy! Love this!

What you need:

  • A canvas (start with a 5×5 size. The small sizes are much easier and more forgiving to start out on)
  • Gel Medium (I use Liquitex, but any brand will do)
    A brush
  • Furniture Polish
  • A Xerox copy of your photo (remember it will be mirrored once it’s on the canvas)

This is a rustic way to display your portraits in a fun, non-traditional way! It seems harder than it looks, but trust yourself; you can do it! I bet all your friends and family will think you paid to have some company make them for you... if only they knew!

These can be used in so many ways! I plan on doing this to my super tall mason jars I have in the kitchen that hold my flour and sugar! Make jars into vases or revamp the boring ole' vase you've been hiding.

What you need:

  • Mason jar, vase, wine glass, beer bottle, anything of your choice
  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue sticks
  • Spray paint
  • Rope (optional)
Make sure you're glass surface is clean and dry. Apply hot glue with words or a design of your choice. Once it's hardened, spray paint the entire jar/surface. Glue rope around the top of the jar, middle of the vase, or around the handle. Whatever floats your boat! These can be use for anything and I bet you already have what you need, in the house!

Ladies, ladies! This is such an easy project and you might already have what you need on hand.
